Late Capital Pods is a site-specific artwork installed in Rochester, New York. Commissioned by the Rochester Contemporary Art Center, this series of large-scale images reimagine Rochester’s Gilded Age architecture as opulent, spacecraft-like forms. Referencing Fabergé eggs and sci-fi aesthetics, these hybrid objects are composed of local architectural fragments, bejeweled with elements of contemporary technological surveillance: smartwatches, cell towers, and security cameras.
